Pyromancer

Pyromancers are born of lords and nobles. Through their endless and shamelessly expensive devotion to the craft of magic, they are able to manipulate the destructive element of fire, using it to burn and destroy their enemies. The concentration required to use such abilities forces them to often remain stationary while using their most powerful attacks. While their armor is enchanted to protect against their own flame, it offers little protection against all else. Their best defense is staying away from the heart of battle and fighting from the edge.

Vaklndr History

Pyromancers are worshipers of Ragnyr the Destroyer, son of Ymil and father of the stone children, the Yggril giants and terrorizers of men. Through the worship of Ragnyr, Pyromancers have gained mastery of the destructive element of fire. The Pyromancer prefers the luxuries of the great cities over the wilds. Greatly feared and respected by emperor’s, kings and lords alike, they are afforded great liberty and have amassed great wealth.

    The Pyromancer's base attack. They strike a single enemy with a bolt of flame.

  •           CURSE OF FLAME

    CURSE OF FLAME

    The Pyromancer curses the enemy. The curse on their enemy can only be lifted by the close proximity of the enemy's allies. Should they find themselves alone when the curse reaches its full power, they are gravely injured.

  •           ENGULF

    ENGULF

    The Pyromancer sets an enemy aflame, causing them to burn over a short period of time, crippling them in the process.

  •           FLAME BURST

    FLAME BURST

    The Pyromancer calls forth a burst of flame, scorching and throwing back any enemies within range. Properly aiming the direction of this burst allows the Pyromancer to safely take flight over short distances.

  •           FIRE STORM

    FIRE STORM

    The Pyromancer creates a tempest of flame that attaches itself to an enemy, following them wherever they go, burning any allies that get within range.

  •           WALL OF FLAME

    WALL OF FLAME

    The Pyromancer creates a wall of flame, searing and then engulfing any enemy that steps inside it in flames.

  •           MOLTEN BOLA

    MOLTEN BOLA

    The Pyromancer lets loose a molten bola, entangling and dragging the enemy backwards. If the enemy makes contact with any of its allies, they too are entrapped. When the bola reaches its maximum distance, it hardens into a temporary cage.

  •           MELT ARMOR

    MELT ARMOR

    The Pyromancer focuses their power on the armor of an enemy, reducing its effectiveness and crippling them for a short time. The searing heat from this ability interrupts any enemy action.
